• Team t-shirt pick-up and team fundraising deadline- Saturday October 11
       Pick up your team's shirts and submit your team's monies
• The Buddy Walk will not feature a raffle this year.
• We appreciate all of your hard work in getting items donated for past Buddy Walk's.

• Registration 9-11 a.m.
• Festivities, Music, Raffles- 9-12 noon
• Announcements/Awards- 11-11:45 a.m.
• Food- 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
• Best Troup-11 a.m.-11:20 a.m.
• Kids Dash- 11:30
• Warm up exercises with Lee Jones-11:35
• Color Guard to line up/National Anthem- 11:45 a.m.
• Buddy Walk- 11:45 a.m.

One of the exciting NEW features of the 2008 Buddy Walk is the opportunity for teams to earn valuable prizes.

. To be eligible for the prizes, all monies must be turned in by 1:00 p.m. on Saturday October 11, 2008.
. All team prizes will be awarded to the team captain
. Team prizes will be announced/distributed during the awards ceremony at the Buddy Walk.
. Winning teams will receive a vinyl banner (with their team name) to display proudly during the Buddy Walk. The banner is yours to take home after the event

New 2008 Buddy Walk team with the most registered walkers
Buddy Walk team (pre-existing) that raises the most money
Buddy Walk team (pre-exisiting) with the most registered walkers

Prizes include the following:

Two big screen, high definition TV's
A TV will be awarded to the New 2008 Buddy Walk team that raises the most money and to the (pre-existing) Buddy Walk team that raises the most money).

Two Apple IPOD Classics with 80GB
An IPOD will be awarded to the New 2008 team with the most registered walkers and to the (pre-existing) Buddy Walk team with the most registered walkers.

• Down syndrome is one of the leading clinical causes of cognitive delay in the world - it is not related to race, nationality, religion or socio-economic status.
• With appropriate support, individuals with Down syndrome can lead fulfilling lives and be contributing members of society.
