Hi my name is Hope Marie Olivito and on December 3^rd I am going to be 5!  I attend Sycamore Elementary school 5 day a week. I love to dance, color & play with my little brother Dominic.  “People say I am special because I was born with Down Syndrome. My mommy and daddy say that I am special just because I am their little girl.  I am much more like other children than different from them.  Sometimes it takes me a little longer to do things than other kids.  I just need a little extra help”.

We want to thank each of you for your support of Hope & our family over the past 5 years. Hope continues to amaze us each day with her desire to learn, her drive and her determination. Please join us as we STEP UP by stepping out and showing our support for people with Down syndrome. Come be a part of the largest disability awareness event in the Mid-South as we STEP UP for Down Syndrome on October 18 at the Memphis Botanic Garden. STEP UP includes a one-mile walk that leads participants through the beautiful Memphis Botanic Garden. As you STEP UP you are showing the community that people with Down syndrome lead meaningful lives. Right here in the Mid-South people with Down syndrome are accomplishing amazing things everyday!
