| Treasure Valley Down Syndrome Association Information | |
The Treasure Valley Down Syndrome Association (TVDSA) was founded in the early 1980s by Billie Paetel and other parents who had children with Down syndrome. Their goal was to provide support and information, especially to new parents.
Today, TVDSA continues to offer encouragement, support, and information. Anyone is welcome to attend bi-monthly meetings to get information and we have an annual summer picnic for members and their families. A variety of speakers have addressed the parents about topics such as child development, school, family, and medical issues.
